Basic Assignment Option:

Step 1: Choose a topic area in your area of study (math, social studies, language arts, science, etc).
Step 2: Identify 10 questions and answers from the topic area that can be used in a crossword puzzle.
Step 3: Use a piece of graph paper (or scratch paper) to design a "rough draft" crossword puzzle.
Step 4: Use Microsoft Excel to design your crossword puzzle.
Step 5: Construct your puzzle using 5 "across" words, and 5 "down" words.
Step 6: Submit your "finished product" to the instructor as an email attachment.

Step 7: Insert the image into your crossword puzzle. Adjust image size and position if desired.
Step 8: Submit your "finished product" to the instructor as an email attachment.
