Inspiration

Requirements: Create a Listening Map with Inspiration 6.0



Basic Assignment Option:

Step 1: Identify a phrase from a musical example, or a short song (12-16 measures), that you want to create a listening map for.
Step 2: Using Inspiration, create a listening map for the chosen piece of music.
Step 3: Identify each of the voices, instruments, and important aspects of the piece.
Step 4: Determine a symbol to represent each of the items identified in Step 2.
Step 5: Use at least 3 different symbols.
Step 6: Create an object to represent each symbols' path along the map.
Step 7: Submit the final product to your instructor via email.

    Step 2: Using Inspiration, create a listening map for the chosen piece of music.
    Step 3: Identify each of the voices, instruments, and important aspects of the piece.
    Step 4: Determine a symbol to represent each of the items identified in Step 2.
    Step 5: Use at least 7 different symbols.
    Step 6: Create an object to represent each symbols' path along the map.
    Step 7: Export the final project as a GIF file.
    Step 8: Post image to a webpage.
    Step 9: Email the webpage URL to the instructor by the due date.
