Requirements: Create a new file directory



Basic Assignment Option:

Step 1: Identify a group of at least 5 educational files (text or image).
Step 2: Using WS_FTP, create a new file directory on your local system, and name it "New".
Step 3: Using WS_FTP, transfer the files into the new file directory on your local system.
Step 4: Using WS_FTP, "upload" the "New" file directory to a server.
Step 5: Submit the URL of the "New" directory to the instructor via email by the due date.

  • Advanced Assignment Option:

    Step 1: Identify a class activity or event that you want to document with digital images.
    Step 2: Using a digital camera, create at least 10 image files of the event or activity.
    Step 3: Using an HTML-editor, create a photo album (html doc.) using the images.
    Step 4: Using WS_FTP, create a new file directory on your local system, and call it "Class Event".
    Step 5: Using WS_FTP, transfer the image files and the photo album into the new file directory.
    Step 6: Using WS_FTP, "upload" the file directory (with album and images) to a server for display.
    Step 7: Submit the URL of the directory and "Class Event" to the instructor via email by the due date.
