Requirements: Create a C Major Scale using Finale NotePad



Basic Assignment Option

Step 1: Using NotePad, create a C Major Scale document using three separate scales.
Step 2: For this assignment, you will need to add 6 measures.
Step 3: The first scale, up and down, should begin on middle C and each note should be a whole note.
Step 4: The second scale, up and down, should begin on middle C and each note should be a half note.
Step 5: The third scale, up and down, should begin on middle C and each note should be a quarter note.
Step 6: Make sure there are not extra measures.
Step 7: Listen to your scales.
Step 8: Submit the final product to your instructor via e-mail.

  • Intermediate Assignment Option:
