Objective: Use Symbols in a Microsoft Word document



Introduction: Symbols are the foundations for many different types of languages and dialects. Microsoft Word comes equipped with a Symbols menu, which contains a variety of symbols that can be used for uncommom word processing tasks. With a few clicks of the "mouse", symbols can be easily inserted into a document. They even can be used as hyperlinks to web pages.



Skill Practice: Use Symbols in a Microsoft Word document

Step 1: Open . Go to File > New and select .
