Objective: To create a letter with the "Letter Wizard"



Introduction: Microsoft Word comes equipped with the "Letter Wizard", an option that will help educators create quick, useful letters for a variety of job-related purposes.



Skill Practice: Create a letter using the "Letter Wizard"

Step 1: Open . An untitled, new document will appear on screen. Go to Tools > Letter Wizard. The "Letter Wizard" window will appear on screen.

Step 2: Use the tab to choose "page design", "letter style", and if you want to use the "date line" option.



Step 3: Use the tab to specify recipient information and type of salutation to use.



Step 4: Use the tab to set letter elements, such as reference line, mailing instructions, attention, subject, and courtesy copies (Cc)



Step 5: Use the tab to specify sender information and to specify closing elements.



Step 6: When finished, select . You have created a customized letter using the "Letter Wizard".
