It's going on all around you. Over in the corner, in the coffee shops, bookstores, even in schools. What is it? Conversation! People love to talk! In class, out of class, on the phone, via e-mail, or in text-based-chats people love to talk or communicate. In fact, communication is an important part of the learning process and it is through language that we as a society pass our values on to our young, make plans for the future, and discuss our history. In this lesson you will learn about using technology to make communication a learning activity. Be sure to review the resource readings before proceeding to the presentation.
