Inspiration
Remember the clusters/ brainstorming charts/ concept maps/ graphic organizers that became rather popular a few years back? Inspiration is software that creates a high-tech version of the same thing. It allows you to create a concept map the same as you would on paper, but offers you more options. For example, you can: add your own pictures, or computer pictures, change the size and shape of the bubble, re-arrange the map over and over again, automatically view the map in the form of an outline, enlarge of shrink the map, and print out the concept map on paper or a transparency.
Instructor Use
Inspiration can be used on the teacher side in several ways. It may sever well in the initial stages of planning a course to layout all course information, and then transform into a syllabus (no re-typing). It can also be used to create visual aids for the classroom.
