Internet Access
The Internet is an unlimited resource for information. The Internet has enabled teachers across the country to exchange and share ideas in order collaborate. This collaboration has allowed teachers to utilize lesson plans, information and ideas freely. The only problem is that often ideas are lost like a needle in a haystack.
Instructor Use
Instructors are able to utilize the Internet in order to find lesson plans, information and lesson ideas. Below is a list of websites that enable teachers to collaborate.
- Kancrn.org
- Ali.apple.com
- Hprtec.org
- Askeric.com
Student Source
The Internet can also be used a resource for students to access outside of class. Assignments, and/or instructions can be posted on websites. Research has become easier for students when utilizing the Internet. Teachers should make sure that students understand that not everything on the Internet is correct. Before letting students search the Internet a lesson should be set aside to discuss the credibility of the source in which students acquire the information.
Student Tool
Students can use the Internet to post and present projects. Students often feel a sense of pride when a project is on display for others to view.
